GOLF: The Open annulé en 2020 à Royal St Georges !

Le R&A a décidé d'annuler The Open en 2020 en raison de la pandémie actuelle de Covid-19. Le prochain championnat sera disputé au Royal St George's en 2021.
L'Open devait se dérouler dans le Kent du 12 au 19 juillet, mais il a été nécessaire d'annuler le championnat sur la base des recommandations du gouvernement britannique, des autorités sanitaires, des services publics et des conseillers du R&A. C'est la première fois depuis la Seconde Guerre mondiale que ce tournoi, joué pour la première fois en 1860, est annulé.
Le 149ème Open se jouera au Royal St George's du 11 au 18 juillet 2021.
Le 150ème Open se jouera à St Andrews du 10 au 17 juillet 2022.

The R&A has decided to cancel The Open in 2020 due to the current Covid-19 pandemic. The Championship will next be played at Royal St George’s in 2021.
The Open was due to be played in Kent from 12-19 July but it has been necessary to cancel the Championship based on guidance from the UK Government, the health authorities, public services and The R&A’s advisers. This is the first time since the Second World War that golf’s original Championship, first played in 1860, has been cancelled.
The 149th Open will be played at Royal St George’s from 11-18 July 2021.
The 150th Open will be played at St Andrews from 10-17 July 2022.
